A 76-storey Brisbane tower cleaned in about two weeks, where the previous contractor had taken four to six.
Soleil is one of Brisbane's tallest towers, 76 storeys on Adelaide Street near the Story Bridge. When we took over the contract, the building had been used to the clean taking four to six weeks. On all but one occasion, when weather intervened, we've completed the whole tower in about two weeks.
The difference is preparation. Ropes are cut long enough to run cleanly from rooftop to podium with no joining knots, crews are sized to each elevation, and the work is planned around the weather so large sections get finished while conditions hold rather than leaving the building half done.
We've since handled pressure cleaning and some façade repairs at Soleil as well.
