Rope Access Field App (mobile application)

This section applies to the Rope Access Field App (bundle ID com.rope.mobile), our mobile application for employees and contractors, operated by Rope Access Technicians Pty Ltd. Effective date: 27 July 2026.

Information we collect

The app collects employee and contractor information, including names, work emails, job assignments, schedules, timesheet entries, leave requests, equipment scans and basic diagnostic logs. It does not track your location, access the camera, read device files, or use third-party analytics.

How we use it

We use this information for job management, rostering, timesheets, payroll, equipment tracking, safety compliance and app support. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Device permissions

The app requests NFC access only, solely to read company asset tags on equipment during on-site confirmation.

Who we share it with

Information may be shared with our hosting provider (Breeze Web), payroll systems, site clients where relevant, and regulatory authorities when required by law.

Security & retention

Information is stored on secured cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit. Records are retained in line with Australian employment and workplace safety laws, then destroyed or de-identified when no longer needed.
