The developer had bought this building and was a few months from demolition, but a council order required a façade make safe: the building was still occupied and the concrete spalling had become dangerous, with chunks falling to the ground.
We mobilised quickly and abseiled the entire façade, tap testing and knocking off any loose spalling. Rated catch nets limited debris reaching the ground, solid hoarding set up exclusion zones, and a spotter kept pedestrians clear the whole time.
