Around 10 panels replaced over a year on a 76-storey tower, wet-sealed internally with portable and temporary anchors keeping the glaziers safe.
Ocean by Meriton has had a number of panels crack for no apparent reason. Through a long-standing relationship with the building manager, who we'd previously changed a lot of glass for at Sundale, we were engaged to replace around 10 panels over the course of a year.
We used two internal glaziers and two abseilers to get each panel in smoothly, with the external rubbers seated properly and the internal side wet-sealed with structural glazing sealant. In most units the internal team worked from portable door anchors, and where the door frame didn't suit we installed temporary anchors so they were harnessed and safe once the opening was exposed.
