Le Mer is a new construction project by Nazero in Main Beach. They'd received four height safety quotes that, in their eyes, were overkill and the most expensive options the installers could offer, and none of them aligned with the builder's needs.
We did a site visit, looked at the rooftop, façades and lower-level planter boxes, and worked with their contract administrator on a solution that was safe and genuinely usable while giving full access, all within their expected budget. We got there just in time: we needed to change the concrete strength in some of the core-filled blockwork so the components could be installed to the manufacturer's specifications.
They called on Monday, we visited Tuesday, finalised the design Wednesday, signed Thursday and started installing the following Monday. That turnaround mattered, because the jump form was still around the rooftop perimeter, which let us install the system far quicker than working off ropes. A win for everyone.
