A full wash down and detailed soap-and-water clean of a distinctive curtain-wall tower, with the neglected gaskets and cavities finally done properly.
Embassy Tower is a distinctive, appealing building in St Leonards. The owners engaged us for a full wash down followed by a complete soap-and-water clean of the whole façade. We spent particular time and care on the rubber gaskets and the cavities within the curtain walling, which previous contractors had neglected. As soon as it rained the façade had been looking trashed.
It looks straightforward, but St Leonards gets windy and the shape of the building makes it prone to getting winded off. Good planning let us work around the conditions and finish inside the time allowed. We also completed a full wash down and window clean on the lower towers in the complex.
